Fair play
A card game is only fun if you can trust it. This is everything we do so that nobody — not other players, not us — can tilt a game, and how you can check it yourself.
Updated 2026-10-051 A fresh, truly random deck every hand
Every hand is dealt from a new full deck, shuffled on our server with a cryptographic random number generator (the Fisher–Yates shuffle with Node.js crypto.randomInt — never Math.random). Nobody, including our admins, chooses or sees the order before it’s dealt.
2 Every deck is sealed before the hand — check it yourself
Before the first card is played, the table shows the deck’s seal: a SHA-256 hash of the whole deck order, mixed with secret salts. It is fixed from then on — if a single card were swapped later, the seal would no longer match.
After the hand, open it in My hands and press Fairness. Your browser receives the proof for exactly the cards you saw and checks it with its own SHA-256: those cards were in those places of the deck sealed before the hand. Cards you didn’t see — like an opponent’s folded hand — stay secret.
3 Nobody sees your cards
Your hole cards are sent only to you. Opponents and spectators never receive them — not even hidden in the page — until a showdown where the hand is shown. We test this with an independent test client that only watches a table and checks it never learns a hidden card.
4 Every hand is recorded and can’t be changed
Every hand is saved in full and linked to the previous one with a cryptographic hash chain, so a hand changed or removed afterwards would break the chain. You can replay any of your hands, share it, or copy its standard text history.
5 Against collusion and multiple accounts
We link accounts that play from the same browser or network. Two accounts of one browser can’t sit at the same money table, enter the same tournament or invite each other for a bonus.
We continuously look for chips going one way between two players, players who always avoid each other and unusual win rates. Every alert is looked at by a person, and prizes of players under review wait until it’s settled.
6 No bots, no outside help
Only real players sit at our tables — the club itself never plays. Bots and real-time assistance software are not allowed by our terms; their typical patterns raise alerts for review.
7 See something odd? Report it
Tap a player at the table, choose Report this player and tell us what happened. Every report goes to our fair-play queue and is reviewed by a person. Chips at Gufo Club are play chips with no money value — but fairness matters to us just as much.
